Our single board controller is one of the smallest on the market. The LD100 SBC contains only 3 main components to reduce size, cost and power consumption. It is based on the 8051/8031 MPU and uses an EEPROM or EPROM to contain up to 64K of program data. It has 16 I/O lines brought out thru a 20 pin connector. Also, the address lines are brought out thru a different 34 pin connector.
This small board is loaded with features. It has the ability to use EEPROM or EPROM. Also, it enables address lines to accommodate onboard memory from 8K to 64K. Depending on the type of connector you install, it may be mounted vertically or horizontally. You may also use a cable.
The EEPROM option allows rapid development due to no 'ultra-violet erase cycle' as with an EPROM. The EEPROM is erased each time it is programmed. The EEPROMs are currently priced starting at $5.00 each from our website.
We offer the LD100 SBC bare board (ie. PCB without components) for only $19.95. This includes a quality double sided, plated thru holes, solder mask both sides and top layer component outline as shown in the picture above. Included is an 8051 assembler on disk, instruction, test programs written specifically for our LD100 SBC and schematics on paper. We can provide a complete kit of parts for only $29.95. We also can provide different versions of an expansion board (bare board) starting as low as $10.95 which provides a power supply and small breadboard area. Due to the vast application possibilites, you can roll your own expansion board with PCB design shareware software available from us free when you order the kit.
