Battery Operated
Eprom eraser / UV eraser / Ultraviolet eraser for only $48
If you are programming Eproms, you will need an Ultraviolet Eraser (UV eraser). The UV eraser is used to erase the current data in an Eprom and set all the bits to a '1'. The typical Eprom part number starts with a '27', example 2764, 27C64, 27C010 ... etc. The Eprom will also have a clear 'window' in the center of the chip to allow UV light to strike its inner core.
The eraser shown above is capable of erasing 1 device at a time in as little as two minutes and includes an off/on switch (Note: UV light harmful to the eyes). Accommodates devices up to 1.6 in. in width and over 4 in length. The UV window opening is .670" x 1.6" which is more than large enough to erase any device we have seen. When you order our UV eraser , you will receive a UV eraser and operating manual (4 AA batteries not included). It is fully assembled and ready to use.
